My Mom recently pasted away. I live 1500 miles from Mesa, and was stressing about making all of these arrangements. I contacted Daniel and the experience was second to none. He was very helpful explaining the whole process. Daniel and Debbie took care of everything. Daniel called me when the remains and death certificates were ready for pickup. When I arrived I was met by Daniel and we went into a private room where everything was ready to complete the paperwork. They were very helpful, and very professional. I hope to not need there services anytime soon, but if I do, you can bet I'll be a returning customer.
Wise Choice was exactly the way you would hope for a Funeral Service to be. I was assisted by Nicole and she was so attentive and helpful. This is a time in your life when you feel lost to start with and for me it is the first time I have had to deal with a funeral. Nicole walked me through it step by step. Each option was discussed completely and each choice was provided to me with an exact dollar amount. I did not feel rushed or pushed to choose anything based on grief or money. Every option was straight forward. There were no hidden fees and no exorbitant fees. As you have probably guessed by now I highly recommend "A Wise Choice Cremation & Funeral Services". I normally don’t leave reviews but this one i had to. I lost my father tragically unexpectedly and walked in on him in his home, he was in the middle of the kitchen i grew up in and had been there for a little considering there was purge fluid everywhere. I’m 22 with three kids and thankfully all of them were in the car while i came in real quick to see my dad, enough of my story but that kinda gives you a little visual of my situation. My dad was my BEST FRIEND so when he died my world fell apart and i was so uneducated on what to do when someone passes, since i was responsible of my father i freaked out on where to go for his funeral/cremation, thankfully my husband took charge and chose this place and i just had to trust him. I am so glad that i did, everyone who works here is so so so very kind and supportive. A woman named Nicole really knows how to do her job, she let me be with my father and do a hand casting and didn’t even count that part as part as my time with him, he died a week before christmas and two weeks before my birthday and made sure i could pick up his ashes on my birthday, she went out of her way many times even off the clock to help any questions me or my husband had. Completely professional, sweet and overall a good person.A lot of people warned me and my husband to be careful with funeral homes because they will get you at your most vulnerable times and try to get as much $$ as possible but i didn’t have that problem with a wise choice they kept trying ways for me to save money. When i was there they kept giving my kids things to do and snacks.it’s very nice inside and doesn’t smell weird like most funeral homes, it felt welcoming and peaceful.I didn’t feel like i was getting jipped whatsoever! It doesn’t even stop there i had a woman named debbie text me privately and just send comforting messages to me, literally just reaching out to ask if im okay. like what?!? i barley had even my own blood ask if im okay!! Made me feel good knowing some people do have hearts. They have taken very good care of my dad, let me give him keepsakes, and i had a very difficult urn for them to put his remains in and that made it possible. I feel so comforted knowing my dad has been in good care with good people who aren’t just out there for the money. I honestly am going to recommend this place to others.i just had to make sure i wrote this review, this is a very good place to trust for someone you love. i could keep going on and on about this funeral home, i am very pleased with the experience ive had with them.
The only home I will consider for future needs. They are fast, efficient and make the whole process seamless. Marybeth has been above and beyond thus far in answering any and all questions and is beyond kind. They are incredibly affordable compared to other facilities.
My husband passed after a long, difficult journey starting with a serious stoke leaving him non verbal & advancing to vascular dementia over 13 years. As his wife & only caregiver, it was unexpected that he passed only a few months after I placed him in Memory Care. He was on hospice and all was so well handled and coordinated with Wise Choice. Nicole called and went over the process very gently, empathetically and clearly. Of course I was in shock and very emotional. Nicole set a meeting for two days later which our daughter (who came immediately from Texas with her husband) All was taken care of so easily and expediently along with documents I didn’t even know I would need. I couldn’t be happier or more confident using A Wise Choice for these arrangements. Can’t imagine anyone who wouldn’t also feel comfortable knowing their loved one, and you, are being well taken care of ????

Once I was able to figure out my funds I reached out again, and A Wise Choice was able to pick up my deceased wife by evening time. They have an office on main street that’s not extravagant but very nicely put together. I had called a dozen other funeral homes and this one was the perfect choice for my mom.They didn’t try to sell me all the urns and jewelry that I’ve experienced in the past. Marybeth stayed very practical with me and made sure when i was going to take ashes home, all the paperwork was all done and the container is one I can open the top and reseal it . I first contacted A Wise Choice on a weekend night at 10pm thinking I would have to wait until Monday morning to actually speak to anyone. We had just lost my nephew unexpectedly and my sister asked me to contact a few places to ask about cremation. I left a message with the answering service and within 15 minutes MaryBeth called me back. I checked out a few other places, but knew this was the place. It truly was a wise choice. Everyone there was so respectful and made what was such an unthinkably difficult time so much easier. My family and I agree that we will go back to them when the time comes that my 94 year old mother leaves us. Thank you so much to the entire staff for your kindness.

Staff were amazing. From the young man who came for our dad in the middle of the night, who was so caring and patient, to the staff at the facility who helped us with his ceremony. I cannot say enough good things about the people at a wise choice. They were caring and understanding. They did not push at all. They were wonderful. My only complaint was that my son was being cremated, and I got to see him which was so important . But they did nothing to smooth out the redness in his face. I would have liked to have seen the face of my son and not the face of my son who had been laying there and turned bright red. That is my only complaint, otherwise, everything about them was perfect. They were gentle and kind

Savanna and the team were experts at the business, very knowledgeable and professional with notifying social security and providing required documentation; I was even sent a checklist of whom to notify following the death which was immensely helpful..likely the most helpful document.They are truly on call 24/7 and respond in kind. Other entities either ignored me or, ignored me!!The cost is reasonable for the service and follow through.
