Obituary
Barbara J Peppriell, was born March 15, 1938 and passed February 18, 2020.
Barbara was one who earned friendships wherever she lived be it New York, California or Arizona. This was evident throughout her life and especially during her battle with cancer. Friendship sustained her laughs, her tennis, her writing, her cooking, gatherings, and tending to her doctor’s appointments and final care at home.
She kept a quote on love by author Michael Crichton
“But love is something else entirely: an emotion of deep caring that asks nothing in return. It’s an emotion that is fulfilling without any expectation at all, and so rare that most people in our society can’t imagine it. They can’t imagine feeling it, or receiving it. They may even believe it doesn’t exist.”
Barbara did find a way for love to exist. On her wall was a framed saying on that began, “You are my friend-you warm my heart. In all my thoughts, you have a part.”

I just moved to AZ withing the last couple of weeks and felt compelled to look you up. I called and emailed your ex employers at Solar Traffic Controls and they had lost touch with you. And, the phone numbers I had for you were out of service.
I am profoundly saddened to see news of your obituary. We spoke of your battle a few years ago and too much time had passed.
My belated condolences to your family and friends.
