Doris L. Burdick

Doris Lenore Burdick, born in Elgin, IL, age 96, passed away on August 10, 2015, in Chandler, AZ.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, USAF Lt Col (ret) James R. Burdick, and their daughter, Mrs. Martha Ann Adams. She is survived by her remaining children: Margaret L. Thompson of Dunnellon, FL, and USA LTC (ret) James R. Burdick, Jr, of Mesa, AZ. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Christine (Tina) Adams, Colleen Thompson, Katherine Thompson, Brent Burdick, Benjamin Burdick, and Matthew Burdick, as well as her great grandchildren: Robert Diaz, Richard Diaz, Haylee Burdick, Houston Burdick, Blythe Burdick, Katelyn Burdick, and Anna Burdick.

Doris worked and volunteered for the American Red Cross for over 20 years in both California and Virginia. Doris was a devoted wife and beloved mother and she is greatly missed by her family.

A memorial service for family members will be announced at a later time.
