Doris Gesner Maxwell

Doris Maxwell, 85, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2014 in Gilbert, Arizona. She was born on November 23, 1928 in Fall River, Massachusetts. Doris graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in music and was a retired music teacher. After moving to Arizona in the early 80’s, Doris worked at the ASU Library and was active in a local singing group, The Songbirds. She and her husband, Forster, who passed away in 2006, were long-time members of the St. Bernard Club of Greater Phoenix.
