Dorothy Little, 88, of Mesa, AZ passed away on January 12, 2014 at the home of Larry and Jan Little. Born in Lake Charles, Louisiana on September 29, 1925, she was the beloved wife of Joseph G. Little who preceded her in death 6 years ago. She was an incredible Pastor’s wife, loving Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.

Dorothy will be missed by her son Larry Little, daughter-in-law Jan Little, daughter Linda McDuffie, son-in-law James McDuffie Sr., seven Grandchildren, James McDuffie, Jr., Lisa Thompson, Michele Little, Matthew Little, Kelly Rowley, Melissa Davis, Scott McFadden and six Great-Grandchildren, Kayla Lilley, Keri McDuffie, Gehrig Thompson, Michael Rowley, Connor Rowley and Mason Davis.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Dorothy’s memory to East Mesa Baptist Church or Hospice of the Valley are suggested. Funeral Service will be January 25, 2014 at 11:00 AM at East Mesa Baptist Church, 752 S. Ellsworth Rd., Mesa, AZ 85208 followed by a graveside ceremony at West Resthaven Cemetery, 6450 W. Northern Ave., Glendale, AZ.

So sorry to hear of the loss of your dear loved one. I too have experienced that deep pain of loss. So, I look for ways to comfort others. I hope that you may find comfort in Job 14:14,15, which assures us that Almighty God has not only the power, but the desire to resurrect our dear loved ones.
