Obituary

Jack D Brause, 89, passed away peacefully at his home in Mesa, AZ on Pearl Harbor Day, 12/7/11. Jack retired from the HVAC industry in 1990 and was a long-time member and past-president of RSES Thunderbird Chapter. He was a WWII veteran, a member of the American Legion, and enjoyed restoring old cars. Jack is survived by his wife of 61 years, Eileen, sister Dolly Dupuis of MA, daughter Diane Brause, son Kenny (Sharon), 3 grand-daughters ? Amy (Jake) Bero, Krista (Josh) Leichtman, and Becca Brause, as well as 5 great grandchildren, Robert, Brooklyn, Stella, Emily, and Lilly. Memorial services will be Dec 17, 2011 ? 2:00 pm at 1st Presbyterian Church-Mesa, 161 N. Mesa Dr., Mesa. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the 1st Presbyterian Church Preschool. We?ll miss you, grandpa ? Auf Wiedersehen, ya’all.

My sympathy to the family. Many think that old age, sickness and death are a natural part of life, but it is not otherwise we would look forward to it. Thankfully it is not God’s will that families suffer the pain of seeing a loved one get sick and die and He promise’s to swallow up death forever (Isaiah 25:8). He also promise’s to bring back to life by means of his son Jesus Christ all those dead in the memorial tombs today (John 5:28,29).
