Linda was born September 15, 1950 in Norristown, PA to Charles and Virginia Kane.
She was raised by her loving step-father Howard Linder, AKA Pop Pop. In 1970, She
married Wayne Cottrill, and together they raised two daughters in Centreville,
Virginia.
Linda proudly worked for AT&T for nearly 25 years before retiring in 2001. She
volunteered as a park ranger for many years for Shenandoah National Park in
Virginia. Linda was an active member of the Berean Baptist Church, where she was
often found preparing meals for sick families and crocheting blankets for both
church families and patients who were on dialysis. Bingy loved her family with all
her heart, her grandchildren meant the world to her. She was a sister, mother,
grandmother and friend to many more people than just her immediate family,
everyone loved the “Bingster”! Bingy was loving, generous, and had the best sense
of humor, her passing is a great loss to all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
She is survived by daughters Virginia Eichelis and Kathryn Graham; her sister Esther
Haupt; her step father Howard Linder and her grandchildren CJ Eichelis, Lily
Eichelis, Maya Graham, Madeline Graham and Jayden Graham.
