Mary Lynn Clark, died Friday, July 24th in Mesa, AZ. Mary Lynn, the daughter of Norman and Marilyn Roach was born on April 7, 1953 at Scott Field Air Force Base, Belleville, IL. She grew up at St. Patrick, MO. Mary graduated from Clark County High School, Kahoka, MO; then graduated from Missouri University, Rolla, MO and received a degree in Environmental Management. After moving to Lake Charles, LA, she attended McNeese University, receiving her degree in chemical engineering; while at the same time teaching a computer class at McNeese University. Mary married Dick Clark on June 18, 1982 in Lake Charles, LA. Dick and Mary have lived in AZ for the past 13 years and he survives. Also surviving are 2 step-children: Tracy (Ken) Gomeringer of Bellevue, NE; Chris Clark of Greensboro, NC; 4 grandchildren: Hailey & Alex Gomeringer; Addison & Joey Clark; her mother: Marilyn Roach of Canton, MO; 3 brothers: Jim Roach of St. Patrick, MO; Hal (Tina) Roach of Bowling Green, MO; John Roach of Mooresville, IN; 5 sisters: Sue Traw of Fort Collins, CO; Lora (David) Phillips of Williamstown, MO; Kathy (Bobby) Neisin of Quincy, IL; Joni (Dan) Sheldon of Denver, CO, Lisa (Jeff) Logsdon of Canton, MO; 1 brother-in-law: Donald Clark of Lake Charles, LA; lots of nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death: her dad: Norman Roach; mother-in-law: Tillie Clark; father-in-law: Lucius Clark; brother-in-law: Jim Traw and all her grandparents. Mary?s career has always been in the Chemical Industry. She began work in Lake Charles, LA at the Hercules Powder Co., then at Olin Corp. Presently she was employed at FuJi film Electronics Materials in Mesa. Visitation will be held from 4:00 ? 7:00 PM, Thursday, July 30, 2009 at A Wise Choice Desert View Chapel, 9702 E. Apache Trail in Mesa. A Mass of Christian Burial and Interment will be at the Shrine of St. Patrick, St. Patrick MO. Time and date yet to be determined.
