Miguel Angle Rubio Munoz

Miguel Ángel Rubio Munoz, born on August 9, 1979, passed away on September 7, 2026. Miguel had a deep love for cooking and found immense joy in music, especially the timeless songs and classic movies of Vicente Fernandez. He dedicated many years to his work at the Beef House and cherished his time at Someburros, valuing the relationships he built with his coworkers.

Miguel’s greatest happiness came from spending time with his cherished nephews and nieces, and his family as a whole. His beloved friends were also incredibly important to him, with a special bond shared with Ana Franco. He was a sweet and wonderful uncle, and his presence will be dearly missed by all. Miguel was so excited to Baptize Catalyna Rubio.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Margarita Rubio Munoz, his grandparents Catalina Munoz and Rosendo Rubio, and his sister, Sanjuana Rubio Silva.

Miguel is survived by his brothers, Jorge (Maria J) Rubio, Luis (Maria G) Rubio, and Rosendo (Maribel) Rubio. He also leaves behind his nieces, Estrella, Alexis, Blanka, Catalyna, Patsi, Liliana, Gemma, Noely, Janette, Andrea, Paulina, and Jimena, and his nephews, Jorge, Juan, Luis, Fernando, Leonardo, Christopher, and Noe. He is further survived by his great-nephews and nieces, Abel, Arrio, Aliceo, Analeia, and Dalayla.

A visitation will be held on September 25, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at 9702 E. Apache Trail, Mesa, AZ 85207. A Funeral Mass will take place on September 25, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at St. George Catholic Church, 300 E. 16th Ave, Apache Junction, AZ 85119. The graveside service will follow at 3:00 PM at City of Mesa Cemetery, 1212 N. Center Street, Mesa, AZ 85201.
