Obituary

Eddie Munk, 83, passed away at home on February 13, 2015 in Mesa, Arizona. He was born on August 7, 1931 in Detroit, Michigan.

Eddie was a heavy equipment long haul driver. He loved playing golf and tennis. He was a member fo the American Legion Post #26, the Mesa Buckhorn Elks #2656 and the Moose East Mesa Lodge #2082.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce McAtee-Munk; 2 sons, Robert Munk of Maryland and Richard Munk of Phoenix; 2 grandchildren, Blake and Bobbie C. Munk of Maryland; 3 sisters, Janet Cooper of Georgia, Nancy Mosakowski of Michigan, Joan Mobley of Michigan; 1 brother, Robert Munk of Michigan; 2 step-sons, Alton O’Hara of Las Vegas and Patrick O’Hara of Utah; 3 step-daughters, Becky Peterson of Michigan, Deanna Wayne and Joy Woodbury both of Gilbert, Arizona.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the Sunny Mesa Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 4640 E. Holmes, Mesa, AZ.
