About Roger Hadley Binkley

Roger Hadley Binkley, 65, of Tempe, AZ passed away peacefully and with family by his side on Friday, March 21st, 2014. Roger was born in Marshalltown, Iowa on April 12th, 1948, to John Roger Seaton and Elsie Beryl Ferguson Seaton. His mother, Elsie, later married William Jennings Binkley, who legally adopted Roger and raised him as his son.

Roger moved to Tempe, Arizona with his parents and his brother in 1961 and graduated from Tempe Union High School in 1966. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education from Arizona State University in 1970. He worked as a precision machinist, and then as a Supplier Administrator with Honeywell Engines and Systems until his retirement in 2001. He is survived by his brother, Mark W. Binkley, daughter, April Binkley Cummins Mecham, and three grandchildren, Dylan, Ashton and Avery Mecham. Services have been held.
