A Life Remembered

Obituary

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Sarah Manus, cherished daughter, sister, and friend, who left this world peacefully in her sleep on September 1, 2026. Born on July 9, 1993, in the warm embrace of Mesa, Arizona, Sarah's life was a testament to kindness and creativity.

Sarah was the beloved daughter of Tracy Holstad and Rick Manus, and the step-daughter of Jim Vanpelt. She leaves behind a loving family, including her younger sister Amanda Manus, younger brother Skylar Bowling, dear uncle Todd Holstad, and her cherished grandmother Sandy Holstad. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Alyn Holstad, whose memory she held dear.

A proud graduate of Sunrise Mountain High School in 2010, Sarah pursued her passions with vigor and grace, earning a culinary certificate in 2013 and a child development certificate in 2015. Her love for home cooking turned every meal into a celebration of love and flavor, a reflection of her generous spirit.

Sarah's talents were as diverse as they were delightful. Her remarkable gift for arts and crafts brought joy to those around her, with each piece a testament to her creativity and love. From a tender age of nine months, Sarah was drawn to the water, developing a lifelong love for swimming. Her friends and family knew her as "Sarah Bear," a nickname that captured her warm and playful spirit.

She was a beacon of laughter and joy, with a big heart that embraced everyone she met, and a unique magnetism that drew children to her. Her hugs were legendary, lifting spirits and leaving smiles in her wake. Almost everything she possessed was in rose gold or pink, her favorite colors, which matched the warmth of her personality. People often complimented her for her striking green hazel eyes, which sparkled with kindness and mischief.

Sarah's birthdays were often celebrated at the family cabin, a place filled with cherished memories and laughter. Those who knew her were touched by her giving soul, always ready to go above and beyond for family and friends.

A service to celebrate Sarah's life will be held on September 18, 2026, at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to a charity of your choice, in honor of Sarah's generous spirit and love for children.

Though her time with us was all too brief, Sarah's legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in peace, forever remembered and deeply loved.
